Our Staff

Ness Bank Dental Practice trains its staff to the highest level and in recognition of this was awarded the Investors in People Standard in 2003.

		Practice Manager Our Practice Manager, Helen Barron, has worked at Ness Bank since 2001 taking over as Manager in 2010. She is a graduate of Dundee College of Education and is one of the first managers in Scotland to complete the SVQ in Dental Practice Management.
		Hygienists Our Hygienists, Shonagh Morrison and Alison MacKenzie, trained in Newcastle and Dundee respectively, and have worked both in the Highlands and beyond.
		Dental Nurse Manager Kerry Brown has worked at Ness Bank since 1995 and ensures that all aspects of infection control are monitored and maintained to comply with current legislation. Kerry is also responsible for mentoring our new trainee nurses.
		Senior Dental Nurses All of our dental nurses are already Registered Dental Nurses or are actively working towards their qualification. Three of our Senior Dental Nurses are qualified Dental Radiographers, two are Oral Health Educators and two are Assessors for the SVQ in Dental Nursing run by the local Primary Care Trust.

		Reception Our receptionists are also encouraged to continue their professional development with a variety of courses.
